As we do not have house numbers in the hamlets we have produced a Whiteleaf & Cadsden House Finder app. Anyone can use this and it should be particularly useful for delivery drivers. A copy of the QR code is posted on the WCRA noticeboard next to the Royal Mail post box in Upper Icknield Way.

Chilterns National Landscape

Whiteleaf and Cadsden fall within the Chilterns National Landscape, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty cared for by the Chilterns Conservation Board (CCB), an independent public body set up through the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.   The Chilterns Society is a charitable organisation caring for the Chilterns, including maintaining and restoring the 2,200 miles of paths and bridleways that criss-cross the Chilterns. They are responsible for Brush Hill and Whiteleaf Hill, two fantastic sites on our doorsteps. Problems with our footpaths and rights of way should be reported to Buckinghamshire Council.

There are two public houses in the hamlets:

The Plough at Cadsden – sadly this has been closed since November 2025.

Whiteleaf Golf Club


This is situated at the top of Golf Club lane.   New non-playing members as well as new members are welcome.   The Golf Club organises a number of social activities, the web site is located at  http://www.whiteleafgolfclub.co.uk/

Residents of Whiteleaf and Cadsden are welcome to use the club bar and purchase food. Non-members need to sign the guest book on arrival. The bar is open 11am – 5pm October to March, but remains open until 8pm in April and October, and 9pm May to September.

Monks Risborough Cricket Club

The Whiteleaf recreation ground hosts the home matches of the Monks Risborough Cricket Club (MRCC). For details visit https://monksrisborough.play-cricket.com/home
