We hold a number of community events for residents, specifically but not all:-
- Village Supper – an informal evening meal at the Red Lion pub and the Plough Pub at Cadsden, usually held twice a year, at either venue.
- Sausage Sizzle – an annual barbeque held in mid-summer, normally at the cricket pitch.
- Golf Day – an ad hoc event, but a chance for golfers of all abilities to play together at the Whiteleaf Golf Course.
- Halloween Event – an event for younger residents. Usually held at the Red Lion Pub in the restaurant room, circa 40+ youngsters gather for a scary supper and a “trick or treat” route in the hamlet in the vicinity of the pub where residents have kindly agreed to be part of the predefined Halloween route.
NOTE: If you are resident of Whiteleaf or Cadsden and have a good idea for a community event, please contact any member of the WCRA Committee to have a chat about it.
